Simply put: I love photography. The idea of freezing time in a way that allows others to relive the experience, fascinates me. Be it portrait, wedding, landscape, dance, or any form of photography, I strive to capture the best moment I can.
WHAT PHOTOGRAPHY MEANS TO ME
BUT I'M ACTUALLY A PROFESSIONAL BALLET DANCER
I believe that everything in life is relative, and life is the way you choose to see it. Every moment is special, and that's what I try to capture, the moments that everyone subconciously knows are there but doesn't always have a picture of. A candid smile, a look particular to you, a unique moment in time that can only be reproduced by the feeling evoked from looking at a photograph.
My professional vocation is actually that of a professional ballet dancer with the Miami City Ballet. Though photography has been an interest of mine since I was about 11 years old, it was through dance photography that I started the transition from hobbyist to professional.
Below is a clip from a photoshoot I did last year with renowned photographer Jordan Matter, author of Dancers Among Us: A Celebration of Joy in the Everyday
